Today is International Women’s day. It’s strange to think that 100 years ago, women couldn’t even vote, and had to march for that right. As recent as the 50’s and 60’s, women seemed to have the broad job choices of housekeeper, secretary, teacher, nurse, and waitress! Even though women still only earn 77 cents for […]
It’s been a busy fall for me, and I hope for you too! Even with the holidays, it’s just starting to level off. I wanted to post some photos from what I thought was the absolute best holiday party in Baltimore this season. I can’t imagine that there was a better one out there! Enjoy!
I have been really busy these past few weeks, and have been away from home more than here. I’ve been in Vegas one week, and Atlanta the next. Here are some shots from my Atlanta conference, where I got to photograph both Dana Perino and Alan Colmes to a packed house. I also enjoyed the […]
Sometimes my shoots really inspire me. Often, it’s a person who is overcoming obstacles, or really accomplishing something. This time, it was a house and its lovely owner. Women up until the 70’s had the broad choice of nurse, teacher, secretary, or receptionist as professional career choices. Now, women lead companies and organizations, fix broken hearts (and other parts), […]
I photographed the BSO’s performance of the Magic Flute. What a great performance! The lighting was phenomenal, the actors sang incredibly well and performed flawlessly, and Marin Alsop was her usual brilliant self. I just wanted to share some of the images from Saturday’s performance. (All images are copyrighted to Tracey Brown).[slideshow]
[slideshow] I’ve had a really busy week, but wanted to post some of the photos I took. The woman in the chair was an interesting shoot. We had to create the look of an office-type environment, and her own home office had just gotten converted to a nursery. She also wanted to minimize being 32 […]
What a great shoot! I have such a great job! My assignment was to photograph author Dan Pink, author of many job books. His latest, “The Adventures of Johnny Bunko” is a manga-style graphic novel featuring protagonist Johnny Bunko and his “magic chopsticks”. A guide appears when the chopsticks are broken and give Johnny job […]
