Tracey was hired to by a college for commercial photography. She photographed students for a viewbook meant to showcase the social work program. The school wanted to feature students who were being used in a testimonial style. The goal of the viewbook was to not just show the people, but show where the school is and capture the vibrancy of the downtown campus, while still making the students front and center.
It was a fun project to work on. Tracey scouted the area to find good locations that would be interesting and also highlight the school. She also had to work on the scheduling, so students were photographed at good times of day. Commercial photography doesn’t just happen, it takes planning and skill.
